About
About this File: This interactive visualization allows readers to explore the 30-topic model analyzed in Chapter 10. It was generated using the pyLDAvis library in Python.
How to Use:
- Left Panel (Intertopic Distance Map): Hover over the circles to select a topic. The size of the circle represents the prevalence of the topic in the corpus. Circles that are closer together share more linguistic similarities.
- Right Panel (Top Terms): Displays the most useful terms for interpreting the selected topic.
- Relevance Slider ($\lambda$): Adjust the slider at the top right to change how terms are ranked. Lower values (near 0.3–0.6) often reveal the most distinct, descriptive keywords for a topic, while values near 1.0 show the most frequent words.
Note: The "Topic Numbers" in this visualization are generated by the algorithm based on size. Please refer to Table 10.7 in the chapter for the thematic labels (e.g., "Digital Marketing," "Grant Funding") assigned to these topics.
