The WAC Clearinghouse seeks applications for two associate publisher positions: Associate Publisher for Web Development and Associate Publisher for Media.
- The associate publisher for media is responsible for (1) planning and overseeing the development of media resources available through the WAC Clearinghouse; (2) leading the creation of a production team focused on media; and (3) coordinating work by that team. The associate publisher works with the publisher, other associate publishers, series editors, and journal editors to accomplish these goals.
- The associate publisher for web development is responsible for (1) planning and overseeing the development of website and web-based resources available through the WAC Clearinghouse; (2) leading the creation of a production team focused on website and web-based resources; and (3) coordinating work by that team. The associate publisher works with the publisher, other associate publishers, the social media director, series editors, and journal editors to accomplish these goals.
Each associate publisher will serve as a member of the operational leadership team within the WAC Clearinghouse. They will also serve on the Clearinghouse Editorial Board.
Like all other positions with the WAC Clearinghouse, this position is voluntary and unpaid. The expected term is three years and may be renewed.
