WAC Clearinghouse Seeks Social Media Coordinator

The WAC Clearinghouse is currently seeking applications for the position of social media coordinator. The social media coordinator will be responsible for publicizing:

  • scholarly publications and instructional and professional resources available through the WAC Clearinghouse;
  • opportunities to serve on various WAC Clearinghouse editorial teams; and
  • other activities associated with the WAC Clearinghouse.

The social media coordinator works most closely with the associate publisher for communications. The coordinator will also work with other associate publishers, series editors, and journal editors to accomplish these goals. The coordinator will serve as a member of the communications team within the WAC Clearinghouse.

Preferred qualifications for this position include: (1) knowledge of social media platforms, such as Instagram, BlueSky, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok; (2) experience using social media for promotion and marketing; and (3) experience as a coordinator of communications. Experience editing WordPress sites will enhance an application.

Like all other positions with the WAC Clearinghouse, this position is voluntary and unpaid. The expected term is three years and may be renewed.
