WAC Research Networking Event

The AWAC Research and Publications committee invites all WAC leaders and researchers at all stages of their careers (including graduate students) to a special online research networking event.  The event takes place Friday, February 27 at these times (shown by timezone):

  • 1-3 pm ET
  • 12-2pm CT
  • 11am-1pm MT
  • 10am-12pm PT
  • 6-8pm GMT
  • 7-9pm CET

Once you RSVP, you will be asked about WAC-related areas you currently research or would like to research. Based on these responses, the organizers will set up breakout rooms around various research questions or topics. 

At the event, you will have time to visit at least two different rooms, where you will become acquainted with others who share your interests and have the opportunity to brainstorm some research ideas. 

The goal of the event is to connect you with other WAC leaders and scholars in order to form possible research teams or research support groups. You will leave with the names and contact information of several people who share your interests. 

If you would like to participate, the organizers ask that you RSVP and fill out a very brief survey in advance so that we can set up the most productive hosted breakout sessions. RSVP and complete this short survey by February 20.
