The WAC Clearinghouse seeks applications to join the editorial team of the Perspectives on Writing book series. The series addresses writing studies in a broad sense. Consistent with the wide-ranging approaches characteristic of teaching and scholarship in writing across the curriculum, the series presents works that take divergent perspectives on working as a writer, teaching writing, administering writing programs, and studying writing in its various forms. The successful candidates will join a collegial team of editors who meet monthly to discuss submissions and reviews of book proposal and manuscripts and to discuss and set the overall direction of the series. Successful applicants will also serve on the Clearinghouse Editorial Board.
Like all other positions with the WAC Clearinghouse, this position is voluntary and unpaid. The expected term is three years and may be renewed.
You can learn more about the series at https://wacclearinghouse.org/books/perspectives/. To apply, please send a letter of application and a current CV to Rich Rice at rich.rice@ttu.edu before July 1, 2026. For more information about the series, please contact Rich Rice and/or J. Michael Rifenburg (Michael.Rifenburg@ung.edu).
